AMMAN — Over 50 industrial institutions from a variety of sectors will participate in the Jordanian Industries Exhibition set for later this month in Jenin, President of the Jordan Chamber of Industry Fathi Jaghbir said on Tuesday.
The conference is being organised by the Amman Chamber of Industry (ACI), with support from the Jordan Investment Commission, Jaghbir said in an ACI statement.
Jaghbir noted that the chamber will work to overcome previous years’ shortcomings. He added that despite the low participation rate in the exhibition held in Bethlehem last year, due to the difficulty in acquiring entry clearances from the occupation forces, such exhibitions will continue to be organised in Palestine.
Jaghbir added that the exhibition will provide Jordanian businesspeople the chance to meet with their Palestinian counterparts, adding that it will also contribute to boosting economic relations among Arab countries.
