‘Professions of gold’ initiative kicks off

AMMAN — Deputising for HRH Princess Alia, Labour Minister Nidal Bataineh has launched the "Professions of gold" initiative in the presence of hundreds of youth.
Inaugurating the first conference of technicians, Bataineh said that the initiative is in line with His Majesty King Abdullah's announcement that 2020 is the year of recruitment through employing youth and engaging them in the labour market, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Mohammad Ghazal, founder of the initiative, said that the programme seeks to train youth and encourage them to engage in technical and vocational jobs.
