11 suspects arrested in ‘drug possession, smuggling cases’

AMMAN — Anti-Narcotics Department agents recently arrested 11 men, two of whom are Arabs, for their suspected involvement in drug possession and smuggling, the Public Security Department (PSD) said Wednesday.
The arrests also netted 165,000 narcotic pills.
The PSD said the arrests and raids took place in Amman and Mafraq.
The suspects, involved in five different cases, were referred to the State Security Court prosecutor general.
