17,150 tonnes of garbage collected during eid — GAM

AMMAN — Greater Amman Municipality (GAM) vehicles and sanitation workers collected 17,150 tonnes of garbage during Eid Al Fitr holiday, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
GAM Environment Executive Director Yousef Dalabih said that the largest rate for garbage collection and transportation was on the eve of Eid Al Fitr, which reached 5,800 tonnes.
Dalabih called on the citizens to cooperate with GAM by taking out the garbage to the allocated locations at the specified time, to ease the task of sanitation workers.
