‘1,727 tourists visited Southern Mazar shrines in February’

AMMAN — Last month, 1,727 tourists visited the tombs of the companions of Prophet Mohammad who died in the Mutah Battle, Osama Tarawneh, supervisor of the Southern Mazar shrines said on Sunday.
He told the Jordan News Agency, Petra, that 946 Muslim visitors came from foreign countries, 331 from Arab countries and 450 visitors were Jordanians. The shrines house the tombs of Jafar Bin Abi Taleb, Zeid Bin Haretha and Abdullah Bin Rawaha.
