19-year-old recovering from snakebite in Kufranjah

AJLOUN — A 19-year-old Kufranjah resident was recovering in hospital on Saturday after a snake bit him on the foot. Iman Public Hospital Director Ahmad Zghoul said the teenager is in good condition and is being monitored after receiving the proper antidote.
Zghoul urged the public, especially agriculture workers, to wear protective clothing in summer and to report to hospital immediately if bitten by snakes or scorpions.
