2,940 Jordanians arrived at QAIA on 16 flights during first evacuation phase

AMMAN — A total of 16 flights carrying 2,940 Jordanians had arrived at Queen Alia International Airport by Friday morning, Head of the Airport Security and Protection Department Brig. Gen. Khaled Shantir said.
All returning students have been transferred to quarantine sites with “no exceptions”, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported him as saying.
Shantir noted that the 16 flights represent the first evacuation phase, while that the next phases will be announced later.
