30 Zarqa women complete in-house plumbing training

AMMAN — Thirty women from Zarqa have successfully passed the in-house plumbing examination following the completion of a 20-day training course delivered by the Vocational Training Corporation (VTC) and implemented through the Water Smart Homes Activity, according to a Millennium Challenge Account-Jordan (MCA-Jordan) statement.
The training was designed based on the VTC’s curriculum, and delivered by six of its certified trainers.
“The ultimate objective of this programme is to contribute [to] reducing poverty and reinforcing economic growth through generating opportunities for women of Zarqa,” the statement quoted MCA-Jordan CEO Kamal Zoubi as saying.
