3,371 people visit Islamic shrines in Southern Mazar

AMMAN — A total of 3,371 people from Jordan and other Muslim countries visited the tombs of Prophet Mohammad’s companions in the Southern Mazar in March 2017, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Mohammad Sarairah, the supervisor of the shrines, said on Sunday that 1,673 of the visitors came from Muslim countries, 399 visitors were Arab and 1,299 were Jordanians. The shrines house the tombs of Jafar Bin Abi Taleb, Zaid Bin Haretha and Abdullah Bin Rawaha.
