3.4 magnitude earthquake recorded — JSO

AMMAN — A 3.4-magnitude earthquake was recorded by the Jordanian Seismological Observatory (JSO) on Thursday. It occurred in the Dead Sea area at 5:36am local time at a depth of seven kilometres, according to JSO President Ghassan Sweidan.
The quake was imperceptible to humans, he added, noting that such earth movements are typically recorded in the Dead Sea region, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
