36 students, teacher hospitalised following school fire

AMMAN — Thirty-six students and a teacher were hospitalised due to shortness of breath when a fire broke out in Musab Bin Omeir Secondary School for Boys in Ramtha.
According to a Civil Defence Department (CDD) statement, fire personnel extinguished the fire, which was started by an electric fault, and evacuated the students, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
CDD personnel transferred the students and the teacher to Ramtha Public Hospital, where they were reported to be in stable and fair conditions.
