4,500 tourists visited Jerash over past 3 days — official

AMMAN — More than 4,500 tourists from foreign and Arab nationalities visited Jerash over the past three days, Jerash Tourism Director Firas Khatatbeh said on Sunday.
The total number included 1,180 foreigners and 130 Arabs who visited the site on Thursday; 1,400 non-Arabs and 535 Arabs on Friday; and 1,000 and 325 foreign and Arab visitors, respectively, on Saturday, Khatatbeh told the Jordan New Agency, Petra.
Public Security Department personnel, tourism directorate employees and volunteer youth on Saturday presented flowers to tourists in Jerash.
