5 killed in Jordan Valley fire

AMMAN — Five people of Asian nationality on Tuesday died after a fire erupted in two tents in the Jordan Valley, according to the Public Security Directorate (PSD) spokesperson. The Karak Civil Defence Department rushed to the scene and extinguished the fire, while the bodies were transferred to the Forensic Medicine Centre for the southern region, the spokesperson said, according to a PSD statement.
