599 wanted persons, racketeers arrested — PSD

AMMAN — A security campaign against racketeers has led to the arrest of 599 wanted persons and suspects, PSD Director Maj. Gen. Hussein Hawatmeh said on Friday.
Hawatmeh said that expanded investigations, conducted in cooperation with the Anti-Narcotics Department, revealed a link between racketeers and drug dealers.
A total of 61 drug-related cases were dealt with and 120 individuals were arrested, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, quoted Hawatmeh as saying. The PSD director also called on the public not to hesitate reporting bullying or racketing acts through WhatsApp on: 0790196196.
