5th round of clean-up campaign begins today

AMMAN — The fifth round of the “Baladak Beitak” campaign is set to begin on Monday, covering a number of regions within the Kingdom, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The Ministry of Environment will handle coordination and cooperation with the ministries of education, agriculture, tourism, interior, governorate affairs and awqaf.
So far, the campaign has witnessed a great deal of participation from citizens, which has contributed to the success of previous iterations. A number of environmental institutions have also made effective contributions.
The national clean-up campaign, which is aimed at promoting an environmentally friendly culture and civic engagement, will continue until the end of the year in Jordan.
