$640,000 Japanese grant offered to enhance capacity of Osamah bin Zaid Juvenile Rehabilitation Centre

AMMAN — The Japanese government has decided to offer a grant of some $640,000 to Nippon International Cooperation for Community Development (NICCOD) to enhance the capacity of Osamah bin Zaid Juvenile Rehabilitation Centre in Russeifa. Japanese Ambassador to Jordan Shimazaki Kaoru and Country Representative of NICCOD Jordan Office Kitagaki Kinta, signed the grant agreement in the presence of Saqer Maaytah, director of the centre, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. The project is the third phase of a three-year scheme, where the Japanese government has provided a grant of $321,448 for the first phase and $492,679 for the second phase.
