‘786 optional subscribers have used SSC online services’

AMMAN — The Social Security Corporation (SSC) on Tuesday announced that 786 optional subscribers had benefited from online services since they were launched in early 2016.
Some 571 people submitted applications for optional subscription online, 129 people requested amendments to the annual increase in optional subscriptions and 86 people suspended their subscriptions using the electronic service, the SSC said in a statement.
The online service was most popular with Jordanian expatriates in Saudi Arabia and the UAE, the SSC said. Some 18,000 people used the service to enquire about their social security numbers, the SSC said, adding that the website had 17,415 registered users.
The online services offered by the SSC also include applications for new optional subscriptions and enquiries about payments.
