7th Annual Warrior Competition opens Sunday

AMMAN — The seventh Annual Warrior Competition opens in Jordan on Sunday, with the participation of 43 teams representing 19 countries, the King Abdullah II Special Operations Training Centre said Thursday.
Col. Khaled Abu Hammad, the competition’s spokesperson, said the competition will conclude next Thursday, noting that it will showcase participant’s resilience, patience, teamwork and martial arts skills.
This year’s contest features more teams and a greater variety, Abu Hammad added, with an all-female team from the Gendarmerie Department participating for the first time.
