Abul Saud, French senator discuss water sector challenges

AMMAN — Water Minister Raed Abul Saud on Monday said that the ministry is keen on cooperating with its partners to implement strategic renewable energy projects aimed at providing sustainable sources of drinking water and reducing waste and energy consumption.
During his meeting with French Senator Olivier Cadic, Abul Saud said that the ministry is seeking to find solutions to water challenges through increasing support to the water sector, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Cadic expressed appreciation for the ministry’s cooperation with the supporting French institutions, stressing that Jordan has successfully managed to address its water woes, despite its limited resources.
