ACC exports reach JD197m in Q1 of 2022

AMMAN — The value of the certificates of origin issued by the Amman Chamber of Commerce (ACC) in the first quarter 2022 increased by 30.6 per cent, compared with the same period of 2021.
The ACC’s exports during the January-March period of 2022 went up to JD197 million compared with JD151million in the same period of 2021, the ACC announced on Wednesday.
According to ACC statistics, carried by the Jordan News Agency, Petra, the certificates of origin issued by the ACC in the first three months of 2022 increased by 4.7 per cent to reach 5,084 certificates, against 4,858 certificates issued during the same period of 2021.
Egypt has topped the list of export destinations with JD38 million, followed by Iraq at JD35 million, India at JD26 million, the UAE at JD16 million and Saudi Arabia at JD14 million.
The figures also showed that Saudi Arabia has issued the highest number of certificates at 810, followed by the UAE, Iraq, Egypt and India.
