AMMAN — Ad-Dustour Arabic daily is still looking into the cases of some laid off staff members to rehire them, Chief Editor Mohammad Al Tal said Sunday.
“We are taking into account the humanitarian conditions of some of the workers who were laid off in order to rehire them.
They will not necessarily be journalists,” Tal said over the phone. Earlier this month, Ad-Dustour daily’s administration laid off around 46 staff members. Of the total, five were rehired and more will be rehired soon, said Tal.
