Adaileh presents credentials as permanent envoy to Arab League

AMMAN — Secretary General of the Arab League Ahmed Aboul Gheit on Wednesday received the Kingdom’s Ambassador to Egypt Amjad Adaileh, who presented his credentials after being appointed as Jordan's permanent representative to the bloc.
Talks, during the meeting at the Cairo-based League's headquarters, went over the latest regional developments and arrangements for the upcoming session of the Council of Arab Foreign Ministers.
Aboul Gheit said that the league is looking forward to enhance "fruitful" cooperation with Amman towards supporting Arab issues and joint Arab action, lauding His Majesty King Abdullah’s role in supporting Arab solidarity, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Adaileh emphasised the Kingdom’s keenness to maintain close coordination and cooperation with the Arab League and its agencies and to support the bloc's pivotal role in addressing various issues and challenges.
