Agreement signed to rehabilitate water networks in Fuheis, Mahes

AMMAN — Water Minister Mohammad Najjar on Thursday met with a delegation from the USAID Office of Water Resources and Environment headed by Andrew Lecken and USAID Deputy Director of the Office of Water Resources and Environment Veronica Lee.
During the meeting, Najjar attended the signing of an agreement aimed to rehabilitate water networks in Fuheis and Mahes, as well as improving the efficiency of treatment units at the Maen’s Zaara plant at a cost of $22 million, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
The minister expressed appreciation of the US support for the Kingdom in facing water challenges.
