Aid organisations distribute food relief before Eid Al Adha

AMMAN — The Jordanian Red Crescent Society (JRCS) announced that it will distribute 700 Udhiyah (sacrificial livestock), in cooperation with the Turkish Red Crescent Society, to underprivileged Jordanian and Syrian families during Eid Al Adha.
The JRCS said in a press statement, carried by the Jordan News Agency, Petra, on Saturday that the number of families that will benefit from the distribution of Udhiyah is 2,600 families in Amman, Mafraq, Ajloun and Balqa and Maan.
The Jordanian Hashemite Charity Organisation (JHCO), in cooperation with the National Aid Fund (NAF), on Saturday distributed humanitarian aid that included foodstuff parcels and mineral water bottles to the underprivileged Jordanian families in Karak's Al Qasr district.
JHCO Secretary General Ayman Mifleh said that 900 Jordanian families received humanitarian aid, in cooperation with NAF, to ease the difficult economic conditions during the Eid Al Adha holiday.
