Airport taxi driver honoured for returning belongings of passenger

AMMAN — Economic and Social Association of Retired Servicemen and Veterans (ESARSV) Director Retired Brig. Gen. Thalaj Thiabat on Sunday honoured Ghaleb Irhayil, in recognition of his integrity.
Irhayil, who works as an airport taxi driver, recently returned $2,414 in cash and a laptop, among other belongings, that an arriving passenger forgot in the cab.
Thiabat sent the taxi driver an appreciation letter, lauding military retirees' humanitarian role, honesty and sincerity, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
