Ajloun forest fire destroys 40 trees

AJLOUN — Civil Defence Department (CDD) personnel extinguished a fire that started on Tuesday in a forest on the Ajloun-Ein Jana road.
Some 40 forest trees within a two-dunum area were destroyed in the blaze, according to the CDD.
Ajloun CDD Director Hani Smadi said the fire was an act of arson.
