AMMAN — Al Aman Fund for the Future of Orphans has launched a Ramadan campaign to motivate the community to donate to cover the education expenses of orphans.
Those who wish to donate can call 065330500, the fund said in a statement on Wednesday, adding that donors can deposit the money in the fund’s account (number 47022) at the Jordan Islamic Bank and all commercial banks operating in Jordan.
The fund offers education opportunities for orphans in vocational or academic training after they turn 18 and leave orphanages.
Her Majesty Queen Rania launched Al Aman campaign in 2003, and it was institutionalised in 2006 to become Al Aman Fund for the Future of Orphans — an independent NGO registered under the Ministry of Social Development to support the neediest of young orphans in Jordan.
