Amman mayor, governor check on work at slaughterhouse

AMMAN — Amman Mayor Aqel Biltaji, accompanied by Amman Governor Khaled Abu Zaid, on Monday visited the Greater Amman Municipality (GAM) Slaughterhouse, noting the facility’s efforts to provide the local market with the necessary quota of meat.
Biltaji said GAM is currently looking into solutions to meet the demand until the new Maduneh slaughterhouse is inaugurated.
Abu Zaid expressed readiness to cooperate with GAM and take all the necessary procedures to ensure a safe work environment.
