Amman mayor meets with UAE officials from investment, environment sectors

AMMAN — Amman Mayor Yousef Shawarbeh met separately with General Manager of Abu Dhabi Waste Management Centre Salem Al Kaabi and Undersecretary of the Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development (ADDED) Rashed Al Balooshi on Sunday evening in Dubai. 

The talks, held on the sidelines of Amman City Day within Expo 2020 Dubai, addressed ways to enhance joint cooperation and exchange expertise in the investment and environment fields, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. 

During the meetings, Shawarbeh expressed the Greater Amman Municipality’s (GAM) pride in participating in the Expo 2020 Dubai to showcase investment opportunities that meet the needs of the city, the market and investors, and the needs of the Amman Vision Investment and Development (AVIC). He also reviewed GAM’S efforts electronic transformation and public transport projects.
