Applications to Jordanian universities to begin August 14

AMMAN — Applications to Jordanian universities will begin as of August 14 until 12am of August 21, Higher Education Minister Adel Tweisi announced on Friday, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra. Students who passed the General Secondary Education Certificate Examination (Tawjihi) can apply through the website (www.admhec.gov.jo), the minister said.
He noted that only students who scored 65 per cent or more can apply, adding that they can pay using the e-payment method (eFAWATEERcom), and then receive a user name with a password to be used during the application process. Student can also pay and apply at post offices, banks, ATMs, POS at Safeway and Carrefour, and currency exchange shops. Also on Friday, the ministry called on students who passed the Tawjihi to visit (rce.mohe.go.jo) to review the list of accredited non-Jordanian universities.
