Arab League media delegation visits NCCD

AMMAN — An Arab delegation participating in the media meetings for the Arab League on Wednesday visited the National Centre for Curriculum Development (NCCD) to check on the Jordanian experience in media and information education.
President of the Higher Council of NCCD Azmi Mahafzah said that the centre was established in 2017 to put a general framework for curricula based on the Constitution, the Education Law and in line with His Majesty King Abdullah's Discussion Papers, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Arab League Deputy Secretary General and Head of the Media and Communication Sector Ahmed Rachid Khattabi commended Jordan’s experience in media and information education. He also highlighted the importance of collective work among Arab countries that adopted the media and information education to reach an encompassing vision to fight false news and privacy violations.
