Army chief attends closing ceremony of ‘Bright Star 2021’ drill in Egypt

AMMAN — Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Maj. Gen. Yousef Huneiti on Thursday attended the closing ceremony of the multinational military drill “Bright Star 2021” in Egypt.
The drill saw the participation of the armies of Egypt, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, the US, Cyprus, Greece, Pakistan and the UK, along with 13 countries as observers, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Speaking at the closing ceremony, Huneiti praised the level of joint military exercise and conveyed the greetings of His Majesty King Abdullah, the Supreme Commander of the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army (JAF), to the Jordanian troops participating in the drill.
The army chief also lauded JAF's participating units for their "good reputation, training efficiency and high professionalism" in carrying out the tasks set in the exercise activities, which reflected the JAF's "bright" image.
