Army chief, Japan, South Korea envoys talk military cooperation

AMMAN — Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Maj. Gen. Yousef Huneiti and Japanese Ambassador to Jordan Shimazaki Kaoru on Wednesday discussed the latest regional and international developments and means of joint military cooperation and coordination.
Talks also went over ways to boost relations in the defence field to serve the interests of the two countries’ armed forces, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
In a separate meeting, Huneiti also discussed aspects of military cooperation and ways to enhance relations with South Korean Ambassador to Jordan Lee Jae-wan.
