Army chief meets with French ambassador, UK, Ghana military delegations

AMMAN — Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Maj. Gen. Yousef Huneiti on Monday received French Ambassador Alexis Le Cour Grandmaison over means to enhance bilateral relations and military coordination.

Huneiti individually met with a UK military delegation and discussed means to enhance cooperation in various operational, training and logistical fields, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

Huneiti also met with Chief of Army Staff of the Ghana Army Maj. Gen. Thomas Oppong-Peprah on Monday over ways to boost cooperation and coordination in joint military training, and to review the latest developments in the regional and international arenas.
