Army chief opens quarantine ward in King Hussein Medical Centre

AMMAN — Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Maj. Gen. Yousef Huneiti on Saturday, in the presence of HRH Princess Alia Tabbaa and a number of officers, attended the opening of a specialised quarantine ward in the King Hussein Medical Centre.
The ward, allocated to liver and bone marrow transplantation, as well as epidemiological diseases, has been equipped with 18 modern rooms over a span of 1,200 metres, Royal Medical Service Director General Brig. Gen. Adel Wahadneh said.
At the end of the ceremony, Huneiti honoured a number of companies that contributed in the ward’s completion, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
