Army chief receives US envoy for anti-Daesh coalition

AMMAN — Chairman of the Joint Chiefs-of-Staff Maj. Gen. Mahmoud Freihat on Sunday night met with US Special Presidential Envoy for the Global Coalition to Counter Daesh Brett McGurk.
Freihat and McGurk discussed the latest regional and international developments as well as Jordanian-US ties and ways to boost them, especially in the military field.
US Ambassador to Jordan Alice G. Wells attended the meeting, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
