Authorities arrest six in narcotics cases

AMMAN — Anti-Narcotics Department (AND) personnel arrested six drug trafficking suspects over the past few days, in two separate cases in the Northern Badia district, Public Security Department Spokesperson Lt. Col. Amer Sartawi said on Wednesday.
In the first case, AND personnel arrested five suspects of Arab nationality in possession of 140,000 narcotic pills, while the second case included a trafficker in possession of 105 palm-sized sheets of hashish, Sarawi said, as reported by the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
