AMMAN — The Amman Baccalaureate School (ABS) celebrated its 30th graduation ceremony late last week.
HRH Princess Sumaya attended the ceremony on behalf of HRH Princess Sarvath and delivered the keynote address.
Members of the Royal family, trustees of the school and families of the 90 graduates attended the event, according to an ABS statement issued this week.
Founded in 1981, the school was “the first in Jordan to adopt the IB Diploma Programme”.
It has also launched initiatives such as El Hassan Youth Award and the Model United Nations to develop and prepare young people to become “responsible and articulate leaders in their community”, the statement said.
