British ambassador presents Newton Prize to winning Jordanian team

AMMAN — British Ambassador to Jordan Bridget Brind on Tuesday presented the 2020 Newton Prize for the Jordanian winning team, represented by Fatima Nimri, for their project: “Our past, our future, we are all in Finan”.
Brind congratulated the scientific research team from Jordan and the UK for winning the prize for their project that protects the past of the Kingdom and culture of Finan, in addition to contributing to creating a better future for Jordan through supporting women in Finan and the local tourism, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The team will dedicate their prize of 200,000 pounds sterling to help 50 women from the local community in Finan to receive training opportunities to develop the Heritage Finan Association for Women.
