Cabinet approves bylaw pertaining to prevention of occupational hazards

AMMAN — The Cabinet on Sunday approved the mandating reasons for the 2022 draft bylaw of the safety, occupational health and prevention of occupational hazards in institutions.
The Council of Ministers also approved the decisions of the Board of Commissioners of the Energy and Minerals Resources Regulatory Commission, pertaining to the granting of the Jordan Phosphate Mines Company (JPMC) the mining rights, specifically in plots in the Maan Governorate, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The decision stipulates that the mining rights shall be subject to any future amendments or decisions taken by the Cabinet in this regard to ensure good implementation and rehabilitation of mining areas, as well as to ensure the Treasury gets “fair revenues”.
