Cabinet discusses municipalities, governorate councils bills

AMMAN — The Council of Ministers on Thursday discussed the mandating reasons for adopting draft laws on municipalities governorate councils.
The Cabinet agreed to decide on the issue after further deliberations of the draft laws, slated for the next meeting.
Moreover, the council approved a recommendation by the Economic Development Committee to finance the liquefied gas project and to support the Aqaba Development Corporation with JD112 million to be used for the southern Aqaba Port project.
