Campaign encourages students to save water

AMMAN — The Ministry of Water and Irrigation said on Wednesday that it has launched a campaign to raise the awareness of school students in communities hosting Syrian refugees on ways to ration the use of water.
The campaign is being implemented in cooperation with the Ministry of Education and Oxfam, according to a statement issued by the ministry.
The initiative entails raising students’ awareness, as well as installing water saving devices and filters at schools in different governorates, including Mafraq, Zarqa and Balqa.
