CARC chief, Mexican ambassador talk cooperation

AMMAN — Chief Commissioner and CEO of the Civil Aviation Regulatory Commission (CARC) Haitham Misto and Mexican Ambassador to Jordan Roberto Rodriguez Hernandez on Wednesday discussed ways to enhance joint cooperation in civil aviation fields.
Misto stressed the importance of strengthening cooperation in the civil aviation field and encouraging airlines to establish direct routes between the countries, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Hernandez stressed the importance of strengthening and facilitating international air services, and expanding the countries' civil aviation cooperation, which would enhance their bilateral trade volume and stimulate the growing tourism levels through charter flights.
Misto welcomed speeding up procedures aimed at signing a draft air services agreement between the countries to open the way for direct and indirect flights and overcome possible obstacles.
