ZARQA — The Cattle Breeders Society held a strike on Thursday to call for the immediate halt of powder milk imports.
In a statement, cattle breeders, who own 220 farms that breed around 40,000 heads of cows, called for halting the issuance of permits that allow importing powder milk.
They threatened to demonstrate outside the Prime Ministry if authorities do not respond to their demands.
