Child drowns in Mafraq; 10 injured in road accident

AMMAN – A nine-year-old child on Tuesday drowned in an agricultural pond in Mafraq, according to a Civil Defence Department (CDD) statement. Ten people were injured in a collision involving a pickup truck and a public transport bus in Southern Shuneh, the CDD said.
Balqa CDD personnel administered first aid to the injured and took them to Southern Shuneh Hospital, where they were listed in fair condition.
