AMMAN — The Council of the Evangelical Churches of Jordan on Tuesday announced cancelling celebrations of Christmas and New Year, limiting them to the religious rituals within churches, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The cancellation comes to mourn the victims of Sunday’s terror attack. The Karak attack resulted in 10 deaths among civilians and security personnel, in addition to at least 34 injuries.
