AMMAN — The Coalition of Leftist and Pan-Arab Parties on Monday called on the government to reverse its decision to raise electricity tariffs.
In a statement, the coalition criticised the government’s insistence in raising electricity tariffs despite the drop in international oil prices.
The drop should be taken as an opportunity to relieve citizens and economic sectors of some of the burdens they have had to deal with, the statement said.
