Head of the Lower House's Economy and Investment Committee Khair Abu Saileik said during a meeting held on Tuesday to discuss the income tax draft law that the committee wanted to address the poverty thresholds and the middle class within clear figures and scientific studies, in order to gather sufficient information and make the right decisions about the average income.
He pointed out that the figures and statistics presented by the attendees, date back to 2010 and are therefore outdated.
