AMMAN — The Health Ministry and the Jordan Medical Association (JMA) on Wednesday underlined that the attack on two doctors at Al Bashir Hospital by two policemen was an “isolated” incident.
Health Minister Ali Hiasat and JMA President Hashem Abu Hassan made the remarks on Wednesday during a sit-in by more than 250 doctors outside the hospital in protest against the incident, which recently took place.
Abu Hassan noted that a committee representing the ministry, the JMA and the Public Security Department was formed to follow up on the case.
