Congestion fee on containers at Aqaba terminal cancelled

AQABA — Maersk Line Jordan on Tuesday retracted its decision to impose congestion fees on containers at the Aqaba terminal, which was scheduled to start on August 1.
The company’s decision was taken in light of the active movement at the terminal. It is also in response to a request by Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority Chief Commissioner Hani Mulki.
